We’ve always said that denim is our favorite canvas. That’s why we painstakingly create custom washes and authentic fades based on reclaimed and beautifully broken-in BALDWIN denim. So of course, the emerging trend of painted denim is one that we challenged ourselves do unlike anyone else. What we created is the Kennedy in Pollock.
As the name suggests, the Kennedy in Pollock is our abstract take on painted fashion denim. Named after abstract artist, Jackson Pollock, this jean is derived from denim worn by other painters. All of the deconstruction and painted details were applied by hand to our finest Japanese indigo stretch denim fabric for a look that is artisanal and completely unique.
The Kennedy in Pollock is a mid rise boyfriend cut for a relaxed, yet flattering fit. It also features stretch denim, which means your most distinct pair of jeans will also be your most comfortable.
Like Pollock’s iconic drip paintings that pop off the white walls of museums around the world, the Kennedy in Pollock is designed to have the same effect on the eye. Especially when paired with neutral tops like the Roni long sleeve raglan which allow the artistic denim to remain the focal point. This combination is a look that we’re tempted to hang on the wall. But we’d rather see it on you.
