POSITION OVERVIEW

The purpose of this position is to supervise the staff, oversee all sales, and manage operations for an individual location. PRIMARY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Customer Service

  • Leads by example by providing quality customer service

  • Handle any customer service issues in a positive manner; consistently follow up on sales and customer service issues.
  • Ensure the security and privacy of all customer information.
  • Promote brand by informing customers of clients of any sales or upcoming events.
  • Work with Retail Director to plan and implement in store events and promotions.

SCOPE

  • Actively manage clienteling by monitoring each Sales Associate’s client book and making suggestions on client development and retention.
  • Able to identify talent and develop others

  • Trains the Standard way of Excellence and holds team accountable to the Standard Way of Excellence.
  • Develops and executes strategies to drive business and LY sales.
  • Operates business profitably and minimize potential for loss.
  • Utilizes sound systems and routines to maximize payroll efficiency.
  • Ensure individual store goal is met and customer service remains paramount; this includes full Profit and Loss responsibility, overseeing controllable expenses, and suggesting cost saving measures.

PRIMARY TASKS & DUTIES

  • Prioritizes workload to maximize efficiency and minimize impact on customer experience. Seeks creative solutions to challenges.
  • Maintains a healthy work environment for team.
  • Interfaces with all levels of management and associates in a manner that promotes learning and mutual respect
  • Oversee stock including monitoring transfers and holds and ensuring proper SKU levels.
  • Conduct weekly team meetings in store and individual one-on-ones with team members regularly.
  • Conduct 90 day and Year End Employee Review and provide feedback to Retail Director.
  • Monitor individual employee’s objectives and progress to ensure success throughout the year.
  • Delegate general housekeeping duties.
  • Support Retail Director in participating in weekly / monthly meetings.
  • Make qualified and quantified suggestions for the buy in consultation with the General Manager.
  • Create weekly schedules for the Sales Associates and Assistant Store Manager to be approved by the Retail Director.
  • Work with the Buyer and Retail Director for OTB and assist in ordering responsibilities for individual location
  • Foster Teamwork and Develop Partnerships
  • Build positive team relationships.
  • Ensures a positive work environment through recognition and motivation
  • Resolves personnel concerns fairly and in a timely fashion.
  • Serves as a business partner to Visual Merchandise Manager, Retail Director and Owners and supports new initiatives.
  • Interfaces with all levels of management and associates in a manner that promotes learning and mutual respect
  • Build positive team relationships.
  • Document any employee issues and report them to Retail Director

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

  • BS/BA degree or equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform essential functions of the job.
  • 5+ years retail management experience.
  • Strong verbal and written skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in order to relay product knowledge and services.
  • Strong eye for fashion.
  • Ability to perform effective selling techniques to achieve sale and repeat business.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Effective management skills.
  • Retail math knowledge.
  • Physical requirements: lift /carry/move 40 lbs minimum including fixtures and Product.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including holidays, overnights, weekends…
  • Ability to actively supervise the sales floor.
  • Advanced knowledge of the contemporary market.
  • Ability to demonstrate excellent leadership experience.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Clienteleing experience.
  • Computer literate.
  • Retail Pro experience or similar POS system knowledge a plus.
